The EX704-7
"Hold Button" Adapter was designed to provide Music
On Hold "Specifically" for the RCA/GE/PP 25403, 25404,
25413, 25414, 25415, 25423, 25424 and 25425 telephones. The
EX-704-7 connects to any one of your telephones and provides
Music-On-Hold for all the telephones at your location. The EX-704-7
provides you with seamless "HOLD" button activated
Message On Hold audio from your supplied external player (let
us know if you also need a playback device). It doesn't matter
how many phones you have, one EX-704-7 Music/Message On Hold
unit will work with all of them.
The EX-704-7 works automatically in the background every time
you press the HOLD button on any of your 25403, 25404, 25413,
25414, 25415, 25423, 25424 and 25425 phones. This unit lets
your message sound its best on the phone lines; from inexpensive
tape decks to the latest digital playback units, you won't be
disappointed. The fact is, the EX-704-7 Music On Hold unit is
much better than most any other telephone Music On Hold adapter
currently on the market, short of buying an expensive telephone
KEY system.
NOTE: While the 2503 and 2504 models to not sound a BEEP tone
"on-hold" the 25413, 25414, 25415, 25423, 25424 and
25425 phones do put a "BEEP" on the line every 10
seconds when a call is on hold. This "BEEP" cannot
be turned off because it is hard wired into the phone; however
by playing Music/Message On Hold during your caller's hold time
that audio will somewhat "Mask" the sound of the BEEP
making it less noticable.
(NOTE: The CK-7 WILL NOT work with the 2 line RCA/GE 25202 (RE3)
model phone. The 25202 needs the Skutch
BA-704-2 STAR TONE on hold adapter!
NOTE: An external audio
player is required to feed Message On Hold audio into the EX-704-7.
