The DVA-500 is a professional
and cost-effective digital voice recorder and playback
announcer specifically designed for ACD/UCD, hotel-motel
wake up, auto attendant, intercept, night message, information
provider applications and other PABX, Centrex and CO
(Central Office Analog Line) announcement functions plus PP!
The DVA-500 can also do more than just play back your
recorded message, greeting or instruction with digital
accuracy. This device can increase call processing capacity
by answering on demand (PBX/KSU) or during the first
ring (you can physically connect this to a normal phone
line - CO), and automatically adjusting the announce
cycle to the message length, then provide an instant ”rewind”
for the next announcement request.
The DVA-500 provides 16 seconds of record time (32 seconds
possible at lower fidelity, or expandable to 32 seconds
full fidelity/64 low fidelity) and is virtually maintenance-free.
There are no moving parts, tapes to replace, or tape
heads to clean.
The DVA-500 is also great to connect directly to your
standard phone line when you would like to have the
unit automatically answer the line, deliver the message
(some examples: night greeting, night message, local weather conditions or forcast, school closings,
seasonal information, movies currently showing, etc.)
and then hang up. Of course they are also great for
connecting to your PBX/PABX/KSU for mailbox greetings,
directions to your business, well... whenever you need
to deliver any kind of a message over and over.
Note: If your installation requires features to include remote recording updates, remote programming, or tone generated "call transfer" you will need to order the DVA-500A in either PREOWNED
or FACTORY FRESH models, as the DVA-500 does not offer these features.
